Click HERE to see how to make Rain Barrels!

Published by at 2:39 am under Recent Posts

Photos from the hands-on training for the Green Gardeners Advanced Training Program on 5-14-10. Sherry Bryan, from Ecology Action, and I led the class to make these three rain barrels from mostly recycled/salvaged materials! These barrels will catch the rainwater and store it to be used for landscape and houseplant irrigation. The next step is to hook it up to the downspout.

Sherry Bryan (from Ecology Action) and I are showing the Green Gardeners how to plum the rain barrels together

    Hey Brett,

I actually forgot some of the materials we used and went online to find out what was recommended that day. I’m so glad I found this. This is still the smartest and least expensive way to do this that I’ve found. Thank you so much.
